Welcome to a New School Year at Madonna
Dear Madonna Community,
We hope you're enjoying a refreshing summer break and making the most of these final days before the new school year begins.
On behalf of our entire staff, we are delighted to welcome you to Madonna Catholic School for another exciting school year. Whether you are a returning family, or new to the area, know that Madonna is a vibrant and supportive school community where student learning, wellness, and our Catholic faith are at the heart of all we do.
We encourage you to stay connected through social media, our weekly newsletter, and sign up for your child’s Google Classroom sites to stay informed about upcoming activities and events. As parents, your involvement in your children's education is crucial to their success, and we warmly welcome your participation. Whether it's joining the Parent Advisory Council, attending Mass with us, or supporting fieldtrip events your engagement is invaluable. Our doors are always open, and we encourage you to reach out to teachers or administration via email, phone, or in person to keep communication strong. We are committed to doing the same.
As a Catholic school, our mission is to create a safe and caring environment where everyone belongs and is loved. We believe in the dignity of every person and strive to follow Christ's example in both word and deed. This year, our division theme - "Rooted in Christ" - is inspired by John 15:5-8 "I am the vine; you are the branches... bear much fruit, and become my disciples." We seek to root ourselves in Christ's word, charity, sacraments, and His body the church. Over the next year, we are excited to deepen our faith and live out this message in all aspects of school life. We look forward to another year of growth, learning, school events, wellness, and faith together.

Pre K & PUF Students
The Pre-K and PUF Students will take part in a personalized "Meet and Greet" session between August 29th and September 6th, 2024. The date and time of your child's session will be confirmed before the beginning of the school year in late August 2024.
A small group orientation will follow from September 9th to 12th. Please note that bus service will not be available during this time.
For more information, please refer to the email sent June 27th, 2024.
MCS Parent Drop Parent Drop Off Zone
For those new to MCS as well as those returning, this is a friendly reminder that students are dropped off along Malvern Drive where there will be staff superivsing in the morning until the bell rings. Please do NOT use the staff parking lot for kindergarten drop offs. We have a growing staff as well as maintenance and technology staff from the division who access this lot. Kindergarten parents will need to find residential street parking in order to avoid unnecessary congestion in our staff parking lot.
Entrance doors for many grades hav eshuffled this year so please take note of the map above.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
