Our school year is about half over now and it’s time to announce our selection for the second group of conflict managers for the year. Conflict Managers are a special group of fourth and fifth grade students who are selected twice a year and serve their school by helping other students resolve conflicts. They are chosen by their classmates and their teachers. They are trained and scheduled for duty by the elementary counselor. Conflict Managers help students talk out their problems and find their own best resolutions. They also help with mileage club and in many other ways around our school. They are a great asset to our school, acting as positive role models and leaders.

It's almost time to get our little bulldogs registered for Kindergarten! The online application opens February 1st. Students who currently attend Learn 'n Grow Early Childhood Education Center will be screened during their preschool day. OPS is preparing for Inclusion Week this March! 💙 The OHS RISE program, along with Special Education Level 2 & 3 classes and their LINKs, are promoting the importance of including students with disabilities and building a supportive, accepting community.

Reminder: Students will need all of their winter gear! This includes **snow pants and boots**, especially with snow on the ground and real-feel temperatures expected to drop below 32°F.
