Pop Show is coming up this Tuesday, and each choir has been working hard to prepare a fun, high-energy night of music! Below you’ll find important details about rehearsals, performance expectations, and ways to support the event.

Full Tech Rehearsal – Monday, May 5 | 3:00–5:00 PM
This is a mandatory major grade for all choir students. We will begin in the auditorium with large group numbers. Students may leave once their group has been dismissed.

Performance Night – Tuesday, May 6 | 7:00 PM
Call time for students is 6:00 PM in the KHS Auditorium. Our Booster Club will share some brief info before the show begins and sell concessions on Main Street. Please remember: no food or drinks are allowed inside the auditorium. Thank you for supporting our Booster Club and respecting our performance space!

What to Wear:

• Each class has a different uniform/attire requirement. You can find what each class needs to wear for Pop Show HERE.
• Seniors, please bring a shirt of the school or college you are attending next year for the senior recognition portion of the show.

Raffle Baskets & Concessions
A huge thank-you to all students and parents who have donated items for our raffle baskets and concessions! These raffle baskets are an important fundraiser to help support our Booster Club, senior scholarships, and end-of-year banquet. Please help us spread the word! Raffle tickets will be sold before the show and during intermission. Each ticket is $5 and you can purchase 5 tickets for $20. Come try your luck at winning some amazing baskets!

If you'd like to donate concession items, you can sign up HERE and bring the items to school next Tuesday.

The Choir Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 8, at the Klein Multi-Purpose Center. Join us for an evening of dinner, awards, presentations, slideshows, officer announcements, a photo booth, and dancing! The ticket deadline has been extended to Monday, May 5. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in class with cash or check (payable to Klein Choir Booster Club). We look forward to celebrating our choir students with a fun night of food, music, and memories!

We’ve kicked off our Vertical Raise Popcorn Fundraiser, and it's already off to a strong start! This online fundraiser offers gourmet popcorn with direct shipping, making it easy for supporters to help from anywhere.

Each student is expected to:

• Enter 20 emails of family, friends, and supporters

• Add at least 10 phone numbers to their account (avoid using peer emails)

We’re already close to our first $5,000 goal—let’s keep it going! Need ideas? Reach out to grandparents, aunts/uncles, neighbors, family friends, or your parents’ co-workers.

Formal choir uniforms are now past due. Please ensure that your uniform is dry cleaned and accompanied by a receipt, then submitted to the choir room by next week. The names of students who do not return their uniforms will be forwarded to the campus financial office, which may impact eligibility for exam exemptions, prom ticket purchases, and other senior-related events.

Auditions are well underway and will continue as needed over the next two weeks during class and finals. For students auditioning for Chorale, your signed/initialed contract was due on Friday. If you have not yet submitted it, please email a signed PDF to Mr. Stultz at sstultz1@kleinisd.net by this weekend. This contract can be found HERE or in Schoology. Congratulations to the many students who auditioned for Chamber! The callback list, along with additional information, will be shared later next week via Remind.
