Parent Peek At The Week

At Herget Middle School, attendance is a top priority. Being present every day is essential for our students’ success. To help us achieve this, we’re excited to share our attendance incentive for October 1-25, doughnuts and cocoa for the classes with the highest attendance percentage.

Each morning, attendance will be recorded by the classroom teacher and will be checked in our office. Our attendance will be checked again at the end of the day. We will celebrate the classes with the highest percentage of attendance, with our goal being 100%.

Parents/Guardians: It is District Policy if a student arrives to school late or from an appointment, they have to be signed in by an adult. Please notify the main office, if a contact person other than parent/guardian is picking up your student for an early dismissal.

Last Saturday HMS Boys Cross Country competed in the City of Lights Cross Country Meet, our Huskies secured 3rd Place! Way to go Huskies!

Winter sports registration is now open. You can register online at https://schools.snap.app/herget, and then clicking on registration. Below are the first practice/tryout dates of the winter season. Full schedules will be posted on the athletic website under resources.

Families can go to bgcncil.org and click on the "Register" tab located on the top of the page. If they scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Helpful Tips" section, they will then be able to access how-to videos on registration, account creation, updating member information, and more.
