Message from Mrs. Winkler
We’ve had a fantastic week to wrap up before spring break! A huge thank you to our parents and committee for planning a wonderful Glow Party for our Ranger Ready Behavior Celebration! The students had an amazing time, and we are so grateful to our PTO for providing supplies and to all the parents who helped with setup, running activities, and cleanup.
IREAD results and information were sent home with our students who participated in testing. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the hard work they put into doing their best!
As we head into spring break, I hope everyone enjoys some well-deserved time together and makes special memories. We’ll see you all back at school on March 31st!
Good luck to the Rangers and they head to semi-state this weekend!
Have a wonderful spring break!
Mrs. Kerri Winkler

School Counselor v Outside Counselor
Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a school counselor and an outside counselor? There is a difference and we want to make sure our parents understand the role of our school counselor here at school and how that differs from outside counseling. Check out the information below to learn more.

VISITOR POLICY
At Ferdinand Elementary, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our students and staff. At the beginning of this school year, all Southeast Dubois schools implemented a new school visitor policy using the Safe Visitor system. All visitors are required to check in with a valid driver's license or government issued ID and wear a visitor badge during their time on campus. This policy helps us monitor who is on school grounds and ensures the safety of our community. We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our school a secure place for learning and growth. Please review the policy below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office.
Attendance Matters
We continue to monitor attendance as we are really working to improve our schoolwide attendance. This year, we will be sending letters out to families as they get closer to the 10 allowable excused abscenses for the year so families are aware of their child's attendance. Thanks to all for helping us meet our attendance goal for the year!
