Buenas tardes familias de James John,

¡El Buddy Day fue un éxito! Queda una semana más de aprendizaje hasta las vacaciones de invierno y sentimos la emoción en el edificio. Si planea estar fuera de la ciudad la próxima semana o planea que su hijo no asista a la escuela la próxima semana, informe a la oficina principal para que las ausencias se marquen como vacaciones y no como ausencias injustificadas que pueden provocar que lo retiren de la escuela ( si las ausencias injustificadas exceden un total de 10 días consecutivos) Gracias.

La próxima semana será ocupada y rápida. El miércoles será un día de salida temprana, la escuela terminará a las 11:50 am, planifique en consecuencia. El viernes será nuestro último Walk and Roll to School para el año 2024. Nos reuniremos en el Centro Comunitario de St. Johns a las 7:30 am y comenzaremos a caminar o ir en bicicleta a la escuela a las 7:50 am. Espero verlos a todos allí. También tendremos nuestra última Asamblea de Estudiantes del mes el viernes. ¡Emocionante!

Good afternoon James John Families,

Buddy Day was a success! There is one more week of learning until Winter Break and we are feeling the excitement in the building. If you plan to be out of town next week or you are planning not to have your child attend school next week, please inform the front office so that the absences are marked as vacation and not unexcused absences which can lead to being dropped from school (if the unexcused absences exceed a total of 10 consecutive days) Thank you.

Next week will be busy and quick. Wednesday will be an early release day, school will be done by 11:50 am, please plan accordingly. Friday will be our last Walk and Roll to School for the 2024 year. We will be meeting at the St. Johns Community Center at 7:30ish and begin walking or rolling to school at 7:50 am. Hope to see all of you there. We will also be having our last Student of the Month Assembly on Friday. Exciting!

With the change of weather and rain our clothing closet is running low. We are in need of pants for both boys and girls of all sizes. The kids prefer stretch pants or sweat pants. They can be new or gently used. Thank you!

The first ever James John Winter Book Fair is December 20th. Chosen by a team of teachers, counselors, and social workers, 60 students are invited to choose FREE like-new books on display in the James John Library. This event is made possible by the generous donations collected during the 23/24 James John Spring Book Drive. A special thank you to all those who shared their love of reading and helped to build new home libraries throughout our community. Together, we will continue to spread joy and literacy into the new year! - Maestro Parada
