Thank you Parents, for your HOT LUNCH work!
Did you know that all of the hot lunches at Central School only happen because of a small group of parents and their time and commitment? This is a SHOUT OUT to those amazing parents who work hard every month or organize and deliver hot lunch to our entire school!
School Photo Updates
It has just been brought to our attention that Lifetouch no longer includes a class photo for all class members, free of charge. We apologize for this lack of communication on their part. They have also made us aware, just now, that there are no options for retakes at our school, since our student population isn't large enough. We are unhappy about this and looking for a new provider for next year. For this year, however, please note the following:
1. A class photo is included in any package orders.
2. You can order a single class photo for $10 at mylifetouch.ca.
Log on using either your child's Picture Day ID (found on your flyer or Portrait ID found on your proof sheet)
Select Add Ons
Choose Class Picture
Need additional help placing your order? Call 866-457-8212 and speak with one of their live customer service representatives.
3. We are trying to arrange a time for our students, who need retakes, to go to DA Ferguson for their retakes. Watch for more information to come!
Once again, we apologize for the miscommunication and poor service on their part. We hope for better things next school year!
Positive Parenting Tip #1
If you yell when you want your children to do something, it only teaches them that it’s best to shout to get what you want. Even when you are stressed, try to speak to your children in a pleasant voice. This shows your child you respect them and teaches them how to speak politely to others and remain calm, even in difficult situations.
