• Bear Run is this Friday, October 6! Today is the last day to get donations turned in. The Bear Run is our largest fundraiser all year. The funds we raise pay for assemblies, classroom supplies, treats for teachers, scholarships for field trips and so much more! They made scarecrows to sit in their dramatic play pumpkin patch. Students worked on cutting, gluing, and following multiple step directions as well as learning about the change of seasons, apples, and pumpkins.

We wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the owner of sBARKles for letting us use their tubs to pre-rinse the tie-dye off the Bear Run shirts!!! Everyone go buy your dog food at their business to thank them for their support!

We are in need of yard duty help during our morning recesses, 9:55-10:40 AM and substitutes to fill in when life happens!

Thank you for your interest in serving on this districtwide committee to explore options for how best to provide for the physical and emotional safety of students in FCUSD. This committee will be no larger than 30 people and composition will include students, parents, staff, community advocates, and law enforcement agencies and will seek to represent the geographic and racial diversity of our district.

The meetings will follow public health guidance and can switch to virtual at some point if needed.

By completing this application, you are committing to attend each meeting:

Connecting with mental health services can be an incredible challenge. FCUSD has partnered with Care Solace to assist with this process. Strengthening Families is a 10-week program in which the whole family has an opportunity to learn and practice skills that strengthen bonds, set boundaries, and increase emotional well-being. The program starts September 15th from 5:45-8pm at Cordova Church of Christ in Rancho Cordova. More info in English and Spanish.

Studies have shown that attendance impacts student learning. Let's work together this year and "Strive for Five"! Missing 5 days or less this school year will give your student(s) an opportunity to learn alongside their peers and build connections. Due to several students will severe allergies, as well as for equity, all food items, including birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and ice cream are not allowed to be shared with classes at school. IF you would like to celebrate your student's birthday at school, consider sending non-edible items such as pencils, erasers, etc., for teachers to send home with the class. PLEASE communicate with your student's teacher about plans to bring in non-edible items to recognize a birthday. Thank you for your cooperation and partnership.
