Request a Parent/Teacher Conference
If you would like to request a conference with your child's teacher, please click the button below to sign up for a meeting. Our counselors will reach out to you to set up the meeting using the email/ number you provided. We are in this together. Be sure to monitor your child's grade and attendance through ParentVue. We must be proactive and work together to ensure all of our students are successful.
Student Schedules
Please complete the correct form below to request an elective schedule change, there is one for each grade level, 6, 7, and 8. Requests are NOT guaranteed, however, we will do our best to honor requests when possible. The form must be completed using the student's NPS email account only. Our school counselors will start processing these requests at the end of the week. Students need to report to the class on their schedule until otherwise directed. If you can't access the form with your child's email account, please email Dr. Doyle (pdoyle@nps.k12.va.us) or Ms. Still (tstill@nps.k12.va.us) .
Student Handbooks
Student Code of Conduct books will be distributed soon. You can access the digital handbook by clicking below.
ParentVue
ParentVUE is a secure web-based information management system that provides parents/guardians the ability to view their child’s assignments, grades, attendance and contact information. ParentVUE is free to all Norfolk Public Schools families and is available from any computer with internet access. In addition, ParentVUE offers app access for Android and iPhone devices. Students can access the same information via their StudentVUE account.
A ParentVUE account will provide real-time, view-only access to their student’s attendance information, class schedule, grades, missing assignments, and important district information.

Transportation
We are sharing a document, that we use internally, that can help you as well. Please note, this Bus Board is typically updated by 2:30 each day. If there are any bus changes, they would be reflected on this form. It also provides the spot of each bus. Students and families can bookmark this board and check daily to help with communication. Students were provided this link during discipline assemblies this week.
You can access the site for bus routes by using your child's school username and password, you can also use their student ID# and DOB.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Versatrans My Stop App is now available to enhance your school transportation experience!
This app is designed to make your school transportation experience smoother and more convenient. With real-time bus tracking, you can easily see where your bus is and get estimated arrival times right on your phone!
