News from Lake Louise School

Dear Lake Louise Families,

This past Monday students and staff enjoyed a visit from the NED Show where the presenter spoke of the importance of a positive mindset that includes never giving up; encouraging others, and doing your best.

The Lake Louise Spelling Bee concluded with a thrilling finish. Nicholas C. from Mrs. Brown's class was crowned the winner, correctly spelling the word "flailed." He will advance to represent Lake Louise at the D15 Spelling Bee on February 3, 2025. We applaud all finalists for their outstanding achievement!

Share your family's holiday cheer! Please consider sending in your family's holiday card to be displayed in the Lake Louise office.

In the event of potential inclement weather on January 6th, CCSD 15 may call an “eLearning day”. Please read more about eLearning here: D15 eLearning Plan. To ensure continued learning in case of inclement weather, all K-8 students will bring home their devices over Winter Break. All devices should return to schools on Monday, January 6, 2025, after Winter Break or on the next regular in-person school day. For parents/guardians of K-2 students, please remember to return the device, case, and charger when students return to school.

We will celebrate the end of 2024 with a Winter Spirit Week starting tomorrow by showing off our Lake Louise spirit! Check out the daily themes below.

As we wind down the year, the staff and I want to take a moment to wish you and your family a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year. May your winter break be filled with warmth, love, and treasured moments. We are looking forward to making more cherished memories and unforgettable experiences with our Lions in the new year.
