The Great Kindness Challenge 2025
Palmetto Bays Elementary School
Palmetto Bays Elementary School is proudly participating in The Great Kindness Challenge 2025, a week-long program dedicated to creating a culture of kindness and compassion in communities worldwide.
To help our students practice kindness and put their compassion into action, they will be challenged to complete kind acts on the Great Kindness Challenge checklist. All students are encouraged to complete these acts of kindness at school and hope they feel inspired to continue practicing kind acts at home (the link to the GKC - Family Edition can be found below.)
Together, let’s lift each other up, cheer each other on, and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS!
The Undy 500
Palmetto Bays is adopting a Hurricane Helene effected school to bring comfort, kindness, and needed supplies. Our goal is to collect as many pairs of NEW socks and NEW underwear as possible. Please send in your donations with your student and we will bundle them and attach a note of encouragement and love before we mail them to our adopted school.
Kindness Station 2025
During recess (weather permitting) a Kindness Station will be set up outside twice during the Great Kindness Week. The Kindness Station is a designated spot where students can work on various kind acts such as writing thank you notes, decorating bags and coffee cozies, and making valentine cards and banners for an area retirement home.
