Dear Amazing Families of Madison Park,
What a fantastic week here at Park! We would like to thank all of our families who attended our Movie Night, and thank you to all of our volunteers who played a part in making the event such a great success. We enjoyed eating a variety of food and snacks while watching “Sandlot”. We would also like to thank all of our Parent/Guardian/Community volunteers for their time running the book fair in the library, Marco Bravo Reality and Blue Orthodontics for providing free popcorn and hot cocoa! We’re looking forward to hosting more parent and community events as we head into the second quarter, see information below regarding our upcoming “Turkey Trot.”
As we move forward in November, we would like to express how thankful we are for all your amazing support and partnership. Read information below to find out more about our upcoming Food, Toy and Sock Drive, Turkey Trot, Spelling Bee and other events. Also, help support our school spirit by encouraging our students to demonstrate pride in our school by wearing “Blue and Gold” every Friday!
Best regards,
Priscilla Gossett - Principal

Tax Credit Donation
We have an opportunity that will assist all students of Madison Park School. If you are interested in supporting our students and receiving a credit on your Arizona State Income Taxes, please take the time to contribute to our Tax Credit Program click here. You may donate up to $400 to the children of Madison Park School. In doing so, you will receive a dollar for dollar tax break on your State Income Taxes.
Your generosity will make a significant difference in our ability to provide needed services and extended activities to our diverse population.
The tax credit donations are used to fund field trips to visit libraries, museums, and various cultural centers. It is important for us to enrich the academic environment in order to maintain a cutting edge academic program. Many of our students would not have the chance to take part in these experiences unless the school provides these opportunities. Our students deserve the rich experiences that other schools are privy to. We make every effort to provide that sense of balance, keep children safe, and provide enriching opportunities for the students of Madison Park School.
Be sure to keep your receipt(s) for tax purposes and note the CTDS numbers for our schools, listed below. You will reference the number corresponding to the school you donated to for tax purposes.

Park Gratitude Tree
Our PTO has sponsored the Park Gratitude Tree. Please stop by the office lobby and choose a tag of one of our awesome staff members. Between now and Dec. 13th, pick something from the small items listed on the tag and surprise the staff member.
Here is how it works:
Stop by the Office Lobby and choose a Tag from the tree.
Fill out the bottom portion of the Tag and place it in the box so we know who took the tag.
Take the top part of your tag and between now and December 13th, to pick something from the items listed to surprise the staff member.
Thank you for helping us show gratitude and support for the Amazing Park Staff.
MAP NWEA- Winter Testing
NWEA MAP Assessment begins Monday, December 2nd-6th
For those families who are not familiar with the MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) assessment, it is an adaptive test for Reading and Math where the results are used to help teachers make instructional decisions that enhance academic growth for your child. Testing is administered three times per year in the fall, winter, and spring.
To find out more information about the MAP assessment, please use this link: Common Questions for Families and Parent Family Toolkit
More information about NWEA can be found on the MSD website Click here.
Students will take the MAP assessment in August, December and April.
