No Tailgating at the Front Door 🚫
Please do not hold the door open for people behind you--tailgating--at the front door.
We realize this is against our ingrained manners and can feel rude to all parties, but it is an important measure to take to keep our school secure. Thank you for your attention and help with this.
Report Do Not Repost
Our collective hearts go out to all those affected by the recent school shooting at Apalachee High School. Please know that Fulton County Schools, along with our municipal partners, are deeply committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students and staff. During difficult times like these, it's important to lean on one another for support, and we encourage anyone in need to seek assistance.
Since Wednesday, our communities have also been impacted by social media posts that are disruptive and dangerous. I want to remind our students and the public in general that making specific threats on social media will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
If you see or hear a threat, report it to local law enforcement immediately. Notify authorities
but don’t share or forward the threat until law enforcement has had a chance to investigate. Reposting builds a large web around a singular post and increases the difficulty of finding the origin. I want us all to practice this easy phrase – report do not repost.

If there is an interruption in benefits or no reapplication is received, the household will be responsible for meal payments until the new application is approved. To ensure uninterrupted benefits, households must complete an online application before September 18, 2024, at www.fulton.nlappscloud.com, or submit a paper application to the school cafeteria manager by September 16, 2024.

Georgia Early Literacy Legislation 📖
Recently, the state of Georgia has introduced new early literacy legislation aimed at improving reading skills among our young learners. We want to make sure you are fully informed about what this means for your child.
Please review the letter linked below for details. Next week, all parents and guardians of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students will receive an email sharing screening results.
iReady Diagnostic Screening Results
The i-Ready For Families Report continues to be available in the i-Ready portal. This report allows schools to share students’ Diagnostic results digitally by providing access to the For Families report directly on students’ i-Ready dashboard.
Families will have digital access to the For Families report after logging in to their student’s i-Ready dashboard (through ClassLink) and entering our year-long district report code: 1TT7PS on the top right-hand corner of the For Families tab. This code is applicable to all students throughout the district and is offered to families so they can directly access student results.
4.5 Week Progress Reports 📊
Progress reports will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on Friday.
- Once you are logged in to Infinite Campus, select Documents.
- Then, select Custom Report Card.
- The document is created as an Adobe PDF document and opens in another window.
If you need help accessing or signing up for the Portal click here.
Please reach out to your child's teacher with any questions.

Attendance Incentives ⏰
Did you know that poor attendance in early elementary can impact whether a child is able to read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade? By 6th grade chronic absence becomes the leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school.
We are excited about continuing to focus on attendance this school year by celebrating those students who come to school, on time, each and every day that they are healthy. Our first raffle will be in just a few weeks!
