Washougal High School Ambassadors Present "Breathe Easy" Campaign to Community
Our Washougal community youth are amazing! They are serving as leaders and making their schools and community a better place! The Washougal High School Ambassador's "Breathe Easy" Campaign community presentations have begun. Angel Garibay-Villa, Eduardo Gonzalez-Campos, Gabriella McCormick and Joselyn Guajardo have been working since October on how to correct misperceptions about youth substance misuse. They helped design a student survey, gathered data, designed posters, buttons and engaged with other youth about their opinions and perceptions. Then they took all of this information and are presenting their campaign to school staff, city council members and encouraging elementary and middle school students on making healthy choices. Excellent work, WHS Ambassadors!
Positive Impact at our Middle Schools
Unite! has been partnering with Washougal Schools to highlight the great choices that our students are making! Most youth and families make healthy choices!
