PRINCIPAL'S NOTE FROM CINDY RUESCH
Playground Committee
We are excited to share that our school playgrounds will be getting an update! Originally scheduled for replacement in the summer of 2026, a recent analysis has determined that some equipment needs to be replaced sooner. These updates will now take place in the summer of 2025 and will include:
Replacement of the small playground (Kindergarten playground)
Replacement of approximately half of the equipment on the large playground
The district has provided Rose with a budget to support the necessary updates to the playgrounds.
To ensure the new playgrounds meet the needs and interests of our community, we will be establishing a Playground Committee to gather input and ideas. This committee will seek feedback from various stakeholders, including parents, staff, and most importantly, our students!
We look forward to working together to design playgrounds that will provide our students with safe, fun, and engaging play opportunities for years to come. Please complete this form by Friday, January 17, if you are interested in participating in the Playground Committee.
