2023-24 School Year
BHS Students, Parents, and Guardians:
Congratulations to the 2023-2024 Mr. Blue Devil, senior Ty Worsencroft! Mr. Blue Devil is sponsored by LINK, a student program to help freshman as the transition to high school with student mentors, programs, and team building activities through the year.
The money raised from Mr. Blue Devil goes back to our school and community. LINK advisors work with the Salvation Army to adopt families during the holidays. BHS students and staff work together to provide food, clothing, toys and other needed essential items.
Midterms and final exams are scheduled December 18th, 19th, and 20th. Exams are a cumulative assessment which is averaged into semester and final grade. It is important that students study, prepare and do their best on all exams. Exam grades will impact a students G.P.A and class rank. During exam week, BHS will be on an adjusted Exam Schedule. Students will be dismissed early all three days. On 12/18 at 12:25 pm, on 12/19 at 10:40 am and on 12/20 at 10:40 am. Transportation will be provided at the dismissal times listed.
Students who miss their scheduled exam period must make arrangements with their teachers to take their exam during the make up times listed. Students who do not take their exams, will receive an F for their final exam on their report card. Exams will not be given early and I ask that you reference the BCSD Calendar, exams are the last three days of each semester. Please plan accordingly.
Talk to your child about doing their best in class, completing assignments, and academic integrity. Help them understand why it is important to do their own work and not to plagiarize or copy others work. Any student who uses devices, technology, or other tools to find answers or to submit work, that is not their own, is a violation of the code of conduct. Cheating and plagiarism will result in a zero in both content mastery or work habits.
