All 2nd graders ventured out on a field trip this month to the Tsongas Industrial History Center in Lowell, a National Park in our own backyard . They participated in an educational program strengthening their knowledge of the push and pull of immigration. They visited a working mill and explored the many cultures of Lowell. The trip connected many of the social studies standards to the real life history of our region. We all enjoyed the trip and learned a lot in the process.
BINGO for Books!
Registration for Bingo for Books has closed. The Reading Team will be sending home bingo boards for registered Davis students to create this week via kidmail so please check your student's backpack. If you do not receive a packet by Friday, May 10, please email one of the Reading Team members as soon as possible so we can get you a packet. Please remember that boards can take a long time to complete and we will not have extra boards at the event so get started early and bring the completed boards with you that night.

News From Music Dept
Spring Concerts and Celebration of Learning
Dear Davis School Families,
Davis School musicians invite you to our Spring Concerts! We are so excited to showcase our skills in singing, movement, and playing instruments!
This year we are adding an opportunity for you to visit your child's classroom after their performance in our Spring Concerts. This will be approximately a half an hour for your child to show you some of the work they have been doing in their classroom. Once the performance is over, we will dismiss students back to the classroom and then a few minutes afterwards we will invite you to go to the classroom.
See the performance schedule below. The event will be taking place in the Davis School gymnasium.
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Miss Hannah and the Davis School musicians
