7th Graders received enrollment forms during Science class on Friday, March 7th. Any student who was absent Friday can ask their Science teacher for the form.

Students will turn enrollment forms into Social Studies teachers by Wednesday, March 12th.

Applications are now being accepted for students to join the AVID elective class next year. All students must apply, be interviewed, and be accepted to join the class.

The Clay County Public Health Center (CCPHC) Registered Nurses will be offering required and recommended immunizations for students in the North Kansas City School District. Middle school students must be between the ages of 11-14. CCPHC accepts and will bill most major insurance plans including Medicaid. Students without insurance or insurance that doesn’t pay for vaccines can also receive the vaccines at no cost during the school immunization clinic. If your child is covered through insurance or has insurance that does not cover vaccines, you must enter the information on the registration form. Failure to include this information will result in delays with processing the form, which may result in your child not being able to participate in the clinic.

• Tdap (required)

• Meningitis ACWY (required)

• Meningitis B

• HPV9

• Influenza

New Mark's clinic date is scheduled for 4/15/2025 during school hours, deadline to register will be no later than 4/1/2025.

Please join us in supporting Pet Partners and our efforts to raise funds during the 2025 Pet Partners Pet of the Year competition. You can help Ginger to be crowned the Pet of the Year by joining my fundraising committee, donating to my campaign, or both!

Our goal is to raise $1,000 (or more) to represent the number of students in our building that love Ginger's Friday visits!

By supporting my fundraising efforts as a pet candidate, you will be directly supporting Pet Partners therapy animal teams who interact with a wide variety of clients including veterans with PTSD, seniors living with Alzheimer’s, students with literacy challenges, patients in recovery, people with intellectual disabilities, and those approaching end of life. They believe that the human-animal bond is a mutually beneficial relationship that improves the physical, social, and emotional lives of those we serve.

We were able to finalize the dates for the EOC testing.

• Monday 5/12 – Algebra I EOC
• Tuesday 5/13 – Algebra I EOC
• Wednesday 5/14 – Honors Geometry EOC
• Thursday 5/15 – Honors Geometry EOC
• There will be 2 Sage busses on this day.
• Most, if not all, Honors Geometry students should be able to finish by the second bus

It will be important for your student to be in attendance on both days, so please try to schedule any appointments or absences around these two dates.
