An illness that involves mood extremes that interfere with everyday living.
How they are treated:

Cannot resist the urge to hurt themselves or others. They cannot control their urges. They may or may not plan the act, but they generally act on their immediate wishes.
How they are treated:
-psychosocial and pharmacological treatment. Antidepressants.
