DSA PTSA ANNUAL Campaign
Greetings from the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) for the 2024-25 school year!
As we enter a time of Giving the PTSA wanted to appeal to our families to give to our annual campaign to support Durham School of the Arts.
Over the last several years the PTSA has supported the school by providing money for projects, supplies, and student stipends. This has included funding senior celebrations and middle school awards, providing staff lunches, teacher workday and appreciation activities.
WE NEED YOU FAMILIES
OUR ASK:
Rather than host multiple fundraisers throughout the year, we do one annual campaign. This year our campaign goal is to raise $20,000. If each family made a gift of $25 we could easily exceed our goal! (You of course can give more.)
NO amount is too small, as anything we raise directly benefits the students of DSA. I hope you will consider making a donation to help to ensure current and future students have a great experience at DSA. There are two ways to make your tax deductible donation:
·
Durham School of the Arts Giving Campaign 2024-2025
DSA’s PTSA has traditionally relied on parent support through donations, instead of selling items such as popcorn or candy. Please consider donating to this year's fundraising campaign. No donation amount is too small, as anything we raise goes directly to support our students and the school.
Donations to the PTSA are tax deductible and help fund projects and events all year long.
Please go to the PTSA link to donate: http://www.dsaptsa.com/
Or Send a check payable to DSA PTSA and address it to:
DSA PTSA
400 N Duke Street
Durham, NC 27701
Thank you so much for your consideration. We look forward to a great year ahead. Also, if you are interested in getting involved with the DSA PTSA please visit: wwwdsaptsa.com

About Us
DSA is an active and dynamic center for arts and academic education. School life at DSA is based on our shared culture of success and an emphasis on tolerance, diversity, personal responsibility, and respect for individual differences.
We are a school like no other. Durham School of the Arts (DSA) is a magnet school founded on the premise of providing our students with an education focused on excellence in the visual and performing arts and rigorous academics. We believe that since our students are both participants and consumers of the arts, they will be better educated and more informed citizens. As a result, we expect our students to be the leaders and intellectuals of tomorrow.
DSA partners with top tier institutions, such as the Durham Performing Arts Center, Duke University and the American Dance Festival, to expose our students to high-caliber guest artists who provide workshops and master classes.
