Other Reminders:
Please send a snack for your child to have when they return from the All-School Picnic on May 22. Reminder that the All-School Picnic is for STAFF AND STUDENTS ONLY, this is not an event parents are invited to.
We will not be able to host a staff vs. Unit C kickball game this year due to lack of space/grounds. We know this is not ideal, but are thankful that our 5th graders got to experience it last year and our current 4th graders will get to play next year. There will be a kickball station at field day that students will participate in, but not staff.
Please sign up to volunteer or donate items for Field Day on May 20!

Unit Notes
Unit A
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, we are excited to continue our beloved tradition in Unit A: the ten-day countdown to the end of school. To make these themed days happen, we need supplies. We keep the themes a surprise and reveal them each morning. Our theme days will align with the RWE countdown, but we've added some flair! 😊
If you are willing and able to donate, please use the link below. If you have any questions about the countdown or end-of-year events, feel free to contact amincke@cpsk12.org or mec6df@gmail.com.

Unit B
- Unit B is headed to Arrow Rock on Thursday May 15th. We will be out of the building from 9:00-2:00. Please check your students Friday folder for more details!
- We are looking forward to seeing families at the student showcase on Tuesday night! If your child worked on an additional Ocean project at home they may bring that on Monday or Tuesday.
**REMINDER**
Unit B will be traveling to Arrow Rock THURSDAY, MAY 15. We will leave Ridgeway at 9:00 am and plan to return by 1:45 pm.
Some things to plan for:
- Students who indicated they would need a home lunch need a completely disposable lunch.
- Be aware of the weather conditions for the day and dress accordingly.
- We will walk long distances and spend part of the day on hiking trails. Wear appropriate shoes. No sandals or crocs, please.
Unit C
We are excited to be celebrating Unit C Day on Monday, May 19! We’re looking for parent volunteers to assist with setting up and running games and activities from 7:45- 9:45. It's a fun and lively morning, and your support makes a big difference in creating a memorable experience for everyone. If you're available to help, please contact your child's homeroom teacher.
Yard Games Needed for Unit C Day!
Do you have a yard game set like cornhole, pickleball, giant Jenga, ring toss, or similar? If you're willing to lend it to Unit C for our Unit C Day celebration on Monday, May 19, we’d greatly appreciate it! Please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher if you’re able to help. Thank you for your support in making this a fun and active event for our students!

After an exciting women’s basketball season world-wide, we’re planning to demonstrate and teach new drills to help take your game to the next level! Whether you’ve come to one of our camps in the past, you’ll be guaranteed to learn something NEW!
