Art Supplies Received and Still Needed
HUGE THANK YOU to all the families that have been donating assorted art supplies!
See below for a list of ongoing items the art room could still use.
"Free" Things...reduce, REUSE, recycle!
- Does anyone have an old button collection they're ready to part with? Kids have been asking for some buttons in our sewing center!
- MAGAZINES! (do people still get those??) Kid friendly content (including the ads)
Toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubs
Flat, clean, pieces of cut cardboard (8”x8” or smaller)
Odd cardboard packing piece shapes, such as corner protectors (6" or smaller)
Plastic bottle caps
Things that we use in great volume, that eat up the budget fast:
Glue sticks!!...so many glue sticks!
Sharpies, black and colored (we tried the discount permanent markers from Amazon and they seem to dry out fast, or arrive already dry, SHARPIES are worth the extra cost)
"Free Draw" paper (aka Copy paper) 8.5x11 and 11x17
Things that we enjoy using greatly, but don't get high priority for using the budget:
Acrylic POSCO Markers
Origami paper squares
Fuzzy sticks (aka “pipe cleaners”)
Pony Beads
Felt fabric pieces
Wood blocks and small wood scraps (for hot glue constructions)
Ready to clean out your own arts and craft space? We can make use of most assorted craft supplies!
Help Our 4th and 5th Graders Have the Opportunity to Build Mixed-Media Sculptures
Our 4th and 5th graders get to use hot glue to make 3D creations. If you would like to support our constructive creativity, click the link below to see Mrs. Sandelin's Construction Center wish list and consider ordering one of the items to add to our center!
