Hello Lion Cub Families,

We are into the 5th week of school and things are going great! We encourage you to check bookbags daily for any school notes or assignments. Also, don't forget to use Class Dojo to communicate with your child's teacher. We look forward to seeing you Thursday night to learning about our school’s participation in Title I services, the requirements of Title 1, Part A and explaining your rights as parents to be engaged which will lead into the PTO meeting.

Estamos en la quinta semana de clases y todo va muy bien. Te recomendamos que revises las mochilas a diario para ver si hay notas o tareas escolares. Además, no olvides usar Class Dojo para comunicarte con el maestro de tu hijo. Esperamos verlos el jueves por la noche para conocer la participación de nuestra escuela en los servicios del Título I, los requisitos del Título 1, Parte A y explicarles sus derechos como padres a participar, lo que conducirá a la reunión del PTO.

While each of you are familiar with our school handbooks, we wanted to make sure you had access to the District’s Code of Conduct that guides our decisions with consequences. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our administrative team.

Reminders:

• School begins at 7:50 a.m. for ALL students Pre-K-5. If you arrive after 7:50, you must park in the Pre-K parking lot and walk in with your students to sign them in before they can go to class.
• Breakfast will stop being served at 9:00 am.
• If you need to change your child's afternoon transportation, please call the front office at (336) 578-0177 before 2:00 p.m. Teachers will not be able to check and respond to messages and emails throughout the day during instructional time. Please do not expect an immediate response from your child's teacher during instructional hours. Office hours for teachers begin after 3:00 p.m.
• Families may come to eat lunch with your students. Please reach out to your child's teacher 24 hours in advance to let them know you are coming so they can plan for seating. Remember: NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK MAY BE BROUGHT IN. Upon arrival, please sign in at the front office and get a visitor's tag.
• Just a quick safety reminder: If you are signing your student (s) out early (before 2:20 p.m.), you must go inside the front office and check them out. If you arrive after 2:20 p.m., to sign your child out, you must wait until the dismissal announcements are made at 2:25 p.m. We appreciate your cooperation with this matter!
