Parking Lot Safety
To ensure the safety of our students and staff, please remember the pick up/drop off rules.
Cross ONLY at marked pedestrian crosswalks, not in the middle of the block or between parked cars.
Blocking a crosswalk or stopping on a crosswalk could endanger students and/or staff. Please pull forward or leave space until the crosswalk is clear and there is enough space to not block it.
Please model safe crossing behaviors for our students.
I-Ready
If your child's January Report Card or Progress Report showed LESS than grade level skills in Math or Reading, please keep in mind that completing (and passing) iReady Math and Reading online lessons at home can help!
Lessons can be completed on school-loaned devices or on home devices; most K-5 students know how to login to iReady...ask your child's teacher if help is needed. Completing a lesson takes approx 20min!
District Art Show
The district’s annual artwork project is now underway for the District Art Show. This year’s theme is “Nature’s Beauty.” All students are encouraged to submit one piece of artwork to their home school. Submissions are due to Mrs. Bachman by Friday March 1st and must include the attached Student Artwork Submission Form. One piece of artwork will be selected to represent Prospect Elementary at the District Art Show on Thursday, April 18th. See below for more information, requirements, and the submission form.
