Dear Parents,

So, it's my last day. This, as you know, is just such an amazing school, with great kids (even those who make some mistakes) and a really warm, caring staff. It's like a family, and the students know it. That makes leaving very, very hard. But it's good, too. The school is in great hands. Mrs. Smith as Acting Principal and Mrs. Taylor, recently announced as our acting Assistant Principal, will serve together as your admin team for the remainder of the year, and they're great.

And Easter is nearly upon us. We're into the Triduum, now, the holiest three days of the year stretching from Holy Thursday to the Vigil which rings in Easter. I pray you all have a blessed and joyous Easter, full of love, joy, and family.

Dear École OLPH Families,

Based on changes to the field trip guidelines, all parents will be required to sign the OLPH Track & Field Informed Consent form on PowerSchool prior to their child participating in Track and Field Day on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Below are the instructions on where to locate the above-mentioned form in PowerSchool. A form must be complete for each student at École OLPH.

If you have any questions regarding the form please email olph@eics.ab.ca. If you require help with your PowerSchool account, please contact Mme Winland at 780-467-5631.

How to Complete the OLPH Track & Field Informed Consent Form

• Log in to PowerSchool
• Click on your child’s name
• Click on Forms and Fees
• Click on Student Fees
• When the new window opens, click on your child’s name
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page
• Click on Consent Forms
• Click on the “OLPH Track & Field Informed Consent” picture
• Complete the requested information
• Click Submit
• Repeat the above steps if you have more than one child at École OLPH Catholic School

The long awaited time has come to get your tickets to the Aladdin Jr, starring the most wonderful and talented Performing Arts students of Ecole OLPH!

The tickets for Performing Arts students are available now for purchase via PowerSchool (see instructions below). On Tuesday, April 22nd at 9:30 a.m. tickets for the rest of the OLPH community will be available for purchase via PowerSchool. ("How to Purchase" instruction below)

Below are the instructions for purchasing the PA performance tickets. Important reminder: Please pay for the tickets immediately in order for your purchase to register in our database. Non-payment means the tickets are not purchased.

Ticket timeline:

PA students' families only

• Open - April 15 - 9:30 a.m.
• Closes - April 21 - 11:59 p.m.

All students' families

• Open - April 22 - 9:30 a.m.
• Closes - April 27 - 11:59 p.m.

• Complete the requested information

• Add to cart

• Pay for the tickets immediately in order for your purchase to register in our database. Non-payment means the tickets are not purchased.
