Dear Worthington Estates Families,

Our PTA-sponsored Walk-A-Thon was a hit Friday! Smiles and Sunshine all day!

We are so grateful for the MANY (many!) parent volunteers that came out that day, amazing pictures (thank you, Ryan Hughes!), and the 'little things' our community does for each other every day!

Nov 16 = PTA Pancake Breakfast @ WES

Nov 18 = PTA Skate Night

Nov 20 = PTA Meeting (others are 1/15 via zoom, 3/12, & 5/14 @6:30PM)

WES Safety Drill scheduled mid October

The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community are always our top priorities in Worthington Schools.

In addition to these drills, Ohio law requires public schools to conduct a "Full Scale" Safety Drill every three years. This comprehensive drill combines elements of the previously practiced drills (Lock out, Lock Down), as a possible simulated evacuation to move students away from the building in the event of danger (this is often referred to as a 'rally walk' and your kids already did this with their teachers in the first weeks of school).

WES Full Scale drill will be planned for Oct 16 and if you are interested in learning more about our safety drills, shared in previous communications, my original message to families is here.

Worthington Schools is planning a change in how our Infinite Campus email is delivered. We plan to make the change before the end of this calendar year.

Cafeteria help appreciated!

You can sign up to support our cafeteria/lunch throughout the year! Our staff and kids loving having you! Lunch is 10:45-12:10, and you can come help out anytime! Sign up links are shared monthly. WES CAFETERIA HELP APPRECIATED.

Ready for Reading

WES is still looking for a few more volunteers to build reading skills with kindergarten students. Even if you only have 30 minutes a week, our kindergarten students would love to welcome you! click HERE

Circle of Grandparents

Circle of Grandparents is a local program helping put elder (you do not need to be a 'grandparent') mentors in classrooms. It's simple, and helps connects our seniors to our students. Interested? Flyer and contact here.
