Patton Parent Update

Patton Parents,

Happy Mothers' Day to all the Patton moms! Thank you to everyone that donated items and/or time to help make Teacher Appreciation Day last Wednesday successful.

As we approach the end of the school year students will continue to engage in classroom assignments, quizzes and/or tests through the end of the school year. We have some fun activities planned for the 9th grade students during their last day of school, May 15, and on Thursday, May 23 for 6th-8th grade students.

Our 9th grade graduation ceremony will be at 4:00 in the Patton Auditorium on Thursday, May 16. This event will be live streamed into our gymnasium as an overflow location if the auditorium fills up. It will also be broadcast on our YouTube channel for family and friends that are unable to attend the event in person. I will also send out an email on Thursday morning with the link.

Our school and district have implemented a visitor/volunteer registration system. Everyone coming to Patton to either visit (have lunch, talk with the nurse, attend a meeting outside of the main office, etc) or volunteer (scheduled with a staff member to assist in a classroom or with students) will need to check in with this system. The initial registration will take a bit longer (please see the attached information on this process). Please be aware that office staff will ask that you use this system each time you are at Patton and will be going beyond the main office space.

We are almost finished the year! We are asking for donations of tissues. If parents want to donate tissues for the students, the boxes can be given to the front office. Thank you for your continued support!
