Highlights of the week!

Coleman Families,

It has been a fun and festive week here at Coleman Elementary! Our students enjoyed dressing up each day to celebrate the season.

On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome the PHS Concert Choir for a beautiful winter concert—a wonderful way to start closing out the month.

Today, our Warriors are busy enjoying Winter Wonderland, participating in stations, and tackling the exciting Gingerbread House Build Challenge. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed boxes, bows, wrapping paper, and supplies to make this event a success!

From all of us at Coleman, we want to wish our families a joyous holiday season. Enjoy this special time with family and friends, and we look forward to welcoming our Warriors back on Monday, January 6th.

Visitor Procedure Change at Coleman

To ensure the safety of all students and staff, we have updated our visitor procedures. Beginning immediately, all visitors to Coleman during school hours will be required to present a valid driver’s license for scanning.

This updated procedure is an important step in maintaining a secure and welcoming campus environment. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to prioritize the safety of everyone in our school community.

New Water Fountains

I am pleased to share that the new water fountains installed over fall break have successfully passed all updated water quality requirements. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to implement this solution.

Birthday Celebrations

In compliance with our Healthy Generation School goals, Coleman will focus on healthy celebrations. Student birthdays will be recognized on our daily announcements.

To comply with the national health guideline, we do not accept birthday or holiday treats.

*Every student at Coleman Elementary will receive a birthday pencil and card from the office on their birthday.*
