Happy Holidays from the Covington Team!

It has been an exciting month at Covington with so many awesome activities and reasons to celebrate. Great job to:
--4th Graders for their musical "Dig It!" and performing for our school and a packed house at night!

--5th Grade Coyote Chorus for singing the National Anthem at the Mad Ants game. They did an amazing job!

--5th Grade Coyote Chorus for an incredible holiday tour! Our students were able to watch the show at Good Morning Covington this morning! Great job!

--Gift of Reading: This is a school-wide event when all students are given the opportunity to listen to a book and have an activity with it. Students travel all throughout the school to have a special reader!

--Spirit Week: It was fun to see the students and staff dressed each day this week!

--Winter Parties: Our students have had a great week with special holiday activities, crafts, and special programs! If you helped out this week, thanks for making this week a fun memory!

--PTC: Thanks to parents for donating treats for a dessert bar on Monday! Our staff feels loved!


We hope you have a wonderful Winter Break and enjoy the holidays. We will see our awesome students back on January 9, 2023! Happy New Year!

Morning Drop-Off Reminders

For the safety of our students, here are a few reminders for those dropping off students in the morning:


  • Front door is for entrance of carpool drop off only.
  • Walkers are to enter thru the back of the building via the sidewalks. No walking on the grass.
  • No children are to be dropped off on the streets surrounding the school.
  • Please do not drop off early. Staff is present to supervise when doors are open. We are excited to greet them at that time.
  • Stay in between the cones, be patient, and wait for the car in front of you to exit.
  • Pull up to the beginning of the carpool line to drop off

If you are in need of WiFi at home, there may be help available to you through The WiFi Project.

The Allen County Public Library also provides wireless internet hotspots which can be checked out for 7 days at a time.
