Our appreciations newsletter celebrates the members of our academy family who exhibit these values and climb the mountain to success. We also champion the family members who, during their climb, have shown themselves to be unique, ambitious and creative.

Year 11 are busy preparing for the exams and here are some great examples of revision timetables and homework - Keep up the good work Year 11!

This envelope contained a special document of aspirations and goals which they had created when they were just in Year 8. It helped to remind them of their goals and aspirations from the very beginning of their journey!

an appreciation to everyone at Kings for making me feel so welcome from the moment I walked through the door on my first day back on the 8th January. I’m finding it a fantastic place to work and everyone has been exceptionally helpful and friendly.

I’d particularly like to thank Miss Stephens in the PE Department for her assistance in guiding me through many of the routines and processes since starting and feel that she needs a special mention for all of her efforts in putting in so much of her own time in ensuring the BTEC Sport students continue to make progress.

The Academy closes for the February half term break on Friday 9 February and will re-open on Monday 19 February.

We are very proud that our year 7 and 8 students dine together every day. Family dining gives students a chance to demonstrate integrity, diligence and civility while eating together with their tutors. They serve each other; clean up together and get a chance to talk about their journey up the mountain of success!
