Special mention goes to Sohaib Rehman, Kalishah Khan and Abdulrehman Ali for really turning it around and showing real diligence in the last few weeks.

All Year 11 classes I teach- thank you for working diligently in lessons this week and showing civility by following instructions very well to ensure DIRT for mock exams is completed successfully for maximum progress
Khadijah Ahmed, Maya Nimra, Sahiba Sajjad, Haleema Bi Khan, Zulaikha Riasat and Sadia Ahmed- thank you for taking time to do some extra peer marking and improving your own knowledge as well
Kajal Parekh – for excellent responses in class discussion this week on the topic of operations management – well done!
Laila Iqbal – for being extremely conscientious and emailing me whilst she was off ill to ask for work that she could complete at home! Very diligent!

Ms Gayle - for always showing diligence but in particular for creating the revision booklets for year 11, the parent and student voice questionnaires and the structure intervention resources for intervention.
Ms Binnersley - for bringing fresh enthusiasm and energy to the English department. Also, thanks for stepping in to help a colleague and covering a lesson for them.
Mr Duggan and Miss Labella for cheering me up with chocolate.
Ms Thompson for her energy and enthusiasm planning her new scheme of work.
Mr Carr for his unfailing support and advice as my Line Manager.

an appreciation to everyone at Kings for making me feel so welcome from the moment I walked through the door on my first day back on the 8th January. I’m finding it a fantastic place to work and everyone has been exceptionally helpful and friendly.
I’d particularly like to thank Miss Stephens in the PE Department for her assistance in guiding me through many of the routines and processes since starting and feel that she needs a special mention for all of her efforts in putting in so much of her own time in ensuring the BTEC Sport students continue to make progress.

The Academy closes for the February half term break on Friday 9 February and will re-open on Monday 19 February.
