A Message from the Administrator
Greetings MCS Families,
Another school year is upon us and I have to say this year is going to be one for the books. Our theme this year is “Dig a Little Deeper.” It will focus on not just looking at things for face value, but the deeper meaning behind it. This will also be reflected in our end of the year school program as well as the schooling throughout the year.
Last week we received the exciting news that our school was identified as a Goal Maker and a Top Performer with our ISAT and IRI testing from last Spring. This was great news and our goal for this year is to make even greater gains. Over the past few years I have been participating in the Idaho Principal Network, which allows me to learn from other administrators around the state. My goal for this year is to have an official leadership team that will 'dig a little deeper' and process information within the grade level teams.
There have been several updates in our main building over the past summer. The biggest one being our new flooring! The red tile was removed and replaced as well as the sub flooring in the bathrooms. Many of the classrooms were repainted and the glass windows in the classrooms on the south side of the building were replaced as well.
As you may know we did not start construction on our new building this summer. As previously mentioned, the price of construction was not within our budget and we did not feel comfortable moving forward. As a result, the building was redesigned and we will be going out for bid within the next couple weeks. If everything goes as planned, we will shoot for groundbreaking this Fall. The biggest thing for myself and our school board is that we are fiscally responsible and do not sacrifice our programs for a building. We are fortunate to have a fully functional campus that will work until we are ready to begin this journey.
I am super excited to see our students, families, and staff for another great school year!!! I hope to see you all at our Ice Cream Social on Tuesday the 27th, at 5:30 pm.
Enjoy the rest of your Summer!!!
Sincerely,
Tony Bonuccelli

Parent Ride Day!
Dear Parents,
The Moscow School District Transportation Department will be offering an opportunity
for you to ride the bus with your child prior to the first day of school. This program is
available to students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
This will provide you and your child a chance to meet the bus driver and ask any
questions you or your child may have about your student’s transportation schedule. Due
to laws regarding children being transported in child safety seats we will not be able to
transport younger siblings of the students participating in this program.
Parent Ride Day will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019
If you have any questions regarding this program or anything regarding your child’s
transportation please call the transportation office at 882-3933.
