August 30: VLAC teaching staff work day. VLAC Office Staff non work day.

September 2: No School Labor Day

September 3: School Begins

September 10: Last Day for Grades 6-12 to make schedule changes

Start to the School Year

There are two important required aspects of our program:

The last Live Virtual Family Orientation is tonight August 29th at 6PM. Visit www.vlac.org under "Current Families" portion of the website and click on the link to join. If you are not able to make a live virtual orientation a recording will be provided in the September 6th VLAC Family News.
Required teacher led meetings with student success tips: Weeks of Sept 3rd and 9th. No live lesson September 12th and September 13th is Drop In if you have questions.

VLAC Required Daily Lessons

Start the school year off on the right foot and build healthy habits by attending REQUIRED daily live lessons the first two weeks of school. The time of day is consistent based on your grade level.

10AM Elementary Grades K-5

11AM Middle School Grades 6-8

1PM High School Grades 9-12

All meetings are on Google Meet and the link will be included in your welcome letter.

Tuesday September 3
Wednesday September 4-first interaction due during live lesson.
Thursday September 5
Friday September 6
Monday September 9
Tuesday September 10
Wednesday September 11
Thursday September 12-NO lesson
Friday September 13-drop in if you have questions

Getting Started in VLAC

In order to log into your VLAC computer and our single sign on Clever, students must have their VLAC email which is their username and password. Use the "How do I get Started?" document below to find your username and password.

If you are a parent having trouble getting logged into ParentPortal to find your students username and password, email info@vlac.org and our staff can give you their username and password and enter a ticket so you can log into ParentPortal in the future.
