A Message from Mrs. Lechner
Hello WFS Family,
We are thrilled to kick off our One District One Book Program! Yesterday’s assembly was a huge success, and the energy in the room was contagious. Our students were genuinely excited as we revealed the book, "Flora and Ulysses" as this year's district-wide novel. It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to engage in shared reading experiences and for students to develop a love for literature. We’re looking forward to the upcoming activities, discussions, and connections that will come from this initiative, and we can’t wait to see how it strengthens our school community as we read and grow together!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Lechner and Mrs. Dansberry

My journey was quite long and there isn’t an acorn in sight, because the ground here is all covered in snow that is white! So I have decided to go somewhere that I can eat and take some time to rest my little squirrel feet. This amazing restaurant can be found on Rt. 537, and their pizza is a real slice of heaven! Where am I?
Bond Referendum Vote: Tuesday, March 11, 2025
Freehold Township School District’s Board of Education voted to proceed with a bond referendum, with the vote planned for Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The proposal includes improvements that would increase safety and security and bring much-needed building updates to every school. A voter-approved bond referendum is the only way to capture state aid for these necessary improvements.
A dedicated referendum website is one of the opportunities the district will take to inform every member of the community about the importance of this vote.
