Christ The King School News Notes
August 4, 2020
WE LOVE OUR FACULTY AND STAFF!
Dear CKS Families,
As we prepare for the new school year, our faculty and staff are working so very hard, and we want to celebrate them to show our appreciation! The greatest gift we could ask is for your support and understanding of the situation as we bring our Operations Reopening Plan to life. Getting ready for a new school year is always a lot of work, but this year adds many challenges. Everyone is preparing beautiful spaces and wonderful plans to make our year one of learning and enjoyment.
Our focus is to provide a safe environment for everyone, and we hope that you will partner with us in this endeavor. I’m sure many of you are aware of Governor Andy Beshear‘s request that people avoid traveling to the hotspots during these weeks before school starts. If you do travel to those areas, he suggests quarantine for 14 days upon your return. School is set to start in two weeks so please keep this in mind if you travel.
At this time Christ The King School plans to start school, in person, on Wednesday, August 19. As I stated last week, we will divide our families during the first three days.
Families with last names that start with A through G will attend on Wednesday, August 19th, and will drop off between 7:30 and 7:40.
Families with last names of H through N will attend on Thursday, August 20th, and will drop off between 7:40 and 7:50.
O through Z families will drop off between 7:50 and 8:00 on Friday, August 21st.
On the days that your child(ren) do not attend that week, NTI is not available. We want teachers to concentrate on those students in attendance, intently covering procedures and expectations.
Thank you for your patience and support. Please click on this link to hear a message from our CKS teachers! Stay safe and take care of yourselves. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Many blessings,
Paula Smith
Principal, Christ the King School
