I hope this message finds you and your family well! Last evening, the district was notified that its application for the Preschool Education Aid Expansion for the 2024-2025 school year was not approved. While the outcome is disappointing, the district remains undeterred in its pursuit of universal preschool education for students in Roxbury. To that end, the district intends to seek clarification on why the application was not approved as well as when it can next apply for the Preschool Education Aid program.
I would like to thank the many staff members, parents and community members for their interest, efforts, and enthusiasm regarding this opportunity.
