The students had an amazing time at the Wild Child Adventures educational bubble show, where science and fun came together in a spectacular display. They were captivated by the colorful, floating bubbles and fascinated by the science behind them. Some lucky students even had the chance to step inside a giant bubble! It was an unforgettable experience that combined learning with laughter.

Saturday School is here for those with unexcused absences or illness days to make up.

What to Expect:

• Work Provided: Catch up on assignments.
• Snack & Play Time: Snack will be provided
• Attendance Credit: Each Saturday School session makes up one absence.

Gates open at 2:30 PM for registration.
Permission slips were sent home last week—make sure to bring them the day of the event and turn them in at the registration table.

If siblings or parents are participating, they must fill out a permission slip.

Going on Vacation? Have a Family Emergency?

We understand that family trips and unexpected emergencies don’t always align with school breaks. To help your student stay on track academically and avoid unexcused absences, we offer an Independent Study option.

• Who qualifies? Students who will be out for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 10 days.
• Why enroll? Completing Independent Study allows your student to receive credit for attendance, just as if they were in class.
• How does it work? Your student will be assigned work to complete during their absence, ensuring they stay up to date with their lessons.

To arrange an Independent Study contract, please visit the school office or call us 559-998-6823 as soon as possible before your planned absence.

Hello Parents,

Due to the high number of absences due to the flu that both Akers and Neutra have experienced, we have decided to postpone movie night to 3/26/25 at 4:00 p.m. at Akers School, to provide students with the opportunity to attend Saturday School to make up absences. Students with perfect attendance from February 3rd - February 28th will be invited to attend family movie night. The Saturday school dates are as follows:

If your student is absent from school, they must make up the missed day(s) at Saturday School in order to receive an invitation to the movie night.
