NYA Modern Languages

During the past two weeks students in Pre-K through Grade 1 learned to sing songs and rhymes that helped to introduce them to basic greetings and classroom expressions. Students learned to identify colors, in both French and Spanish, and are now able to use both languages to identify the colors of fruits, vegetables and items in the classroom.

During the next two weeks students will learn to introduce themselves, to talk about family members and to give 3-4 details about themselves. These details will include age, nationality, number of brothers and sisters in their family and activities that they like to do.
