Mercy School Institute 2024-2025 School Year
Principal's Corner
Assalam Alaykum dear parents, staff, and Mercy community,
Hope you’re all doing well! We had an awesome week here with lots of reading and fasting. A big thanks to all our students for their energy and effort!
Reminder: There’s no school during the parent-teacher conferences. It’s a great chance to chat about how your child is doing at school, so please make sure to come.
Next week, we’ve got the Mercy Souk event! Students can buy gifts for family and friends before the Eid break. It's a fun way for them to pick out something special.
We also want to celebrate some students who did exceptionally well this year:
- Senior Principal Honor Roll with Special Distinction: Faris Salous
- Principal Honor Roll: Shahad AbouAbed and Adeen Asim
- Senior Honor Roll: Sejood Zaben, Nour Atiyat, and Leena Odetalla
And a big congratulations to our 8th graders:
- Valedictorian: Hala Arodak
- Salutatorian: Adhra Kazi
Great job, everyone MashaAllah!
Don’t forget about our fundraising dinner on March 22nd in the gym. It’s going to be a great night!
Thanks for all your support, and see you at the conferences and dinner!

2025 Memorial Kids Marathon
We are so excited to have Mercy School Institute joining the 2025 Memorial Kids Marathon! This is a very exciting and special year as it is the 25th anniversary of the Memorial Marathon! Race day is SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 2025, at 9AM!
Registration
Sign up Kid Marathoners to run on Race Day! Parents and students can go to https://haku.ly/3aa5dc8732 to register. At the bottom of the page, you will select your school’s name from the dropdown list. This page is hidden on our normal website so random people don’t sign up with school groups, so be sure your students and parents have this specific link!
IMPORTANT
- It is recommended families complete registration for all members in one transaction to avoid incurring additional service fees.
- Make sure that they do not use the Kids sign up on our regular website, but with the link provided above. If they go through the website to register the kids, they will not see the schools which will lead to them not signing up with the schools.
- All adults need to register as well if they want to run with their kiddo. If a person does not have a Kids Marathon bib on, they will not be allowed into the start line area.
Deadlines: All Kids Marathon School Group participants must be registered by March 31st.
Cost: Registration for Kids under 12 years old is $25.25. Registration for parents/teachers/staff over 18 years old is $35.25
