School Spirit Swag Store and Spiritwear Clothing Store Updates
We have launched a school spirit swag store. This is your opportunity to grab an Oakie before your summer vacation. We also have other Oak Ridge items for sale. Please check out this link to make a purchase. To ensure delivery of the items to your student before school ends, the store will close on May 31st.
A note about our new spiritwear clothing store: follow this link to check out the store. It is open all the time, so there is no deadline to order. If you are not in a rush for your items or wish to avoid the shipping fee, we will be offering free ship-to-school a few times during the year. The next free shipment will be offered early next school year and will be communicated as it gets closer.

Your Home & School Dollars at Work - Monthly Treasurer's Update
With just two weeks left of school we have spent 91% of the planned budget. We have a few more expenses coming in and one more fundraiser with the upcoming flea market, bake sale, and clothing drive.
I will publish an End of year Treasurer Report for the first time next month June. We think it is important our Oak Ridge families see how all the fundraising dollars are put to work sponsoring numerous events and overhead costs throughout the year.
Funds raised in May:
Prize Bingo was a great success, and we profited $5,050! We had around 80 attendees and generated $3,160 in prepaid tickets, $3,764 in sales at the event, and $1,750 from sponsors to help offset the $3,624 in expenses. We have already confirmed our date for next year so please mark your calendars for April 10th!
We used funds raised during the Spring concert and gifted the Technology Room $350 to restock on necessary supplies.
We also received $228 from the Mom’s Real Italian Water Ice and Ice Cream Shop fundraising, $178 in commission from Floral & Hardy spring flower sales, $839 from Box Tops, $123 from the Oak Ridge online swag shop, $305 in reservation spots for the flea market, $150 from ice cream bar, and a $392 company match check.
Contributions in May:
$367 in insurance fees, $1,300 towards the special assembly, also contributed for after school rec, teacher appreciation week, faculty appreciation gifts, gift cards for our year book artists, balance due for overage yearbook costs, and our monthly fees to SASD copy center.
