Why is track & field for you?
It is a unique sport where competitors compete individually (or in relays) to score points for their team. There are 18 different events in high school including sprints, hurdles, mid distance, distance, jumps, and throws. There is something for everyone!

Taking Driver's Training? No worries.
If you are beginning driver's training Monday and still interested in participating in track do not worry. YOU CAN DO BOTH! All you need to do is come see Coach Snyder and let him know your plans. We will work out a schedule for you.
What do we need for practice?
Up to date sports physical
Make sure you have had a sports physical within the last year. If not, make an appointment with your family physician or go to urgent care as soon as possible.
Running clothes
Have a t-shirt, shorts, socks, sweatshirt or hoodie, sweat pants or wind pants. We will be outdoors as much as weather permits.
Running Shoes
You just need a decent pair of running shoes to start with. PLEASE DO NOT BUY TRACK SPIKES FOR PRACTICE. You need a comfortable shoe that you can train in.
