Principal's Message

Welcome to the last few weeks of June everyone, the last month of what has been a very busy school year! Holy Redeemer Catholic School is a great place to be. Our school is filled with students who care about each other, who try no matter the circumstances, and who give with their whole heart day after day. Our teachers are dedicated and generous in sharing their gifts, creating opportunities, supporting each other, and finding ways to succeed no matter what the circumstances are.

We have support staff including our administrative assistants, educational assistants, counsellors, liaisons, and caretakers who have contributed in countless ways to support our students, families, and the community of Holy Redeemer every day. The partnership and support of our parent community have both inspired and provided stability to our school. Your adaptability, flexibility, generosity, and commitment have kept things on track for supporting every child through this year. We should all be so proud of what we have accomplished together this year.

A huge shout-out to our school parent council! Thank you for working so hard for the students and your kids in our school. The school council has been involved in a variety of fundraising initiatives that benefit all the students at Holy Redeemer. Thank you to the parent council for our new sound system and projector in our gymnasium. This was a very large expense but definitely makes a huge difference when we have school events, assemblies, productions, etc. We also thank our parents for their $1000 contribution towards Santa Anonymous this year and for purchasing play equipment for the kids to enjoy during recess time.

First Rider Program Sign Up - August 2023

Use this form to sign up for the First Rider Program with Elk Island Catholic Schools. You and your child will learn about bus safety, the danger zone, EICS Code of Conduct, and transfer stations. Then you and your child will be able to take a short ride on an actual school bus.
