Information for Athletics
Colossians 3:23 & 24 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.'"
General Information
- 5th-8th grade athletes will need to wear any Zion t-shirt and PE approved shorts for practices. You can purchase PE clothes to be used for practices. 5th graders will not be dressing out for PE this year, FYI.
- Please read through the Athletic Handbook.
- Attendance: communicate to coaches when absent and try to schedule appointments apart from practices and games.
- Check the Eligibility and Grade check section in the Handbook.
- Please sign all forms (see attachments below) and turn in before first game.
- Parents are in charge of transportation to and from games/tournaments.
- Sports have a fee that will be charged through FACTS.

Zion Athletic Philosophy
Our philosophy of athletics is one of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, enthusiasm, teamwork, and pride. We feel that everyone that participates in our program will learn about all these important attributes and therefore build a successful and moralistic character.
