Sign Up for In-Person Enrollment!
Use the button below to schedule your in-person enrollment. During your appointment you will have access to Aetna reps in case you have any questions about plans or coverage, an enroller who will go through the process and complete your enrollment for you, and the opportunity to review/adjust your 403(b) retirement plan.
When signing up select the date that corresponds with the building you would like to schedule at in order to see available times.

Employee Benefit Updates
Medical
The district is continuing with Aetna on a 10/1 plan year. The plan elections you make will be in effect from October 1, 2024-September 30, 2025. Deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums will continue on a calendar year (January 1) basis.
Plan rates for the 2024-2025 plan year can be seen on page 9 of the Benefits Guide.
Dental
The district offers a dual option dental plan with Delta Dental. The buy-up plan is similar to the base plan in that the deductible levels and child orthodontia benefits are the same, with preventive services still covered at 100%.
For individuals needing increased coverage, the buy-up plan offers basic services covered at 90%, major services covered at 60%, and a $1,500 annual year maximum.

Vision
Surency will continue to administer the district's vision plan. There are no changes to plan design or employee contributions.

Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts
The IRS has allowable limits for FSA and HSA accounts. For further information refer to pages 11-13 of the Open enrollment Guide.
There has been an increase to the districts contribution into your HSA account:
- $33.71/month for those enrolled in the HSHP/HSA plan (increase of $1.13/month)
- $137.32/month for those enrolled in the HDHP/HSA Connected plan (increase of $6.06/month)
In addition, UMB will no longer charge individuals a monthly administrative fee for their HSA.
Voluntary 403(b) Retirement Program
The district will continue the 403b matching program. For each monthly contribution that you make, the district will contribute a matching amount up to $40.
How To Take Advantage of the 403(b) Match
We don't want to see employees leave free money on the table! To take advantage of the district match you will need to meet with Modern Advisor Group during Open Enrollment.
- Earning the district match is simple. Contribute $40 or more per month ($20/paycheck) and you will receive the district match.
How do you know how much you are contributing?
- Your contributions will appear under the "Deductions" section on your paystub with the code "403B CONTRIB" and/or "4ROTH CONTRIB" depending on which type of account you contribute to.
- The Districts contribution will appear under the "Benefits" section on your paystub with the code "403B CONTRIB".
It is recommended that you meet with Modern Advisor Group EVERY year during Open Enrollment!
Jon and Terry will have a copy of your investment account profile with them. Even if you don't plan on making any changes, it's a great time to check in on your money!
Mobile Mammography

We've asked the mobile mammography coach back! If you had your mammogram done last fall, it's time to get it done again. If you haven't had yours in the last 12 months I highly encourage you to take advantage of this convenient option. This is our 4th time having them on location and 100% of the feedback we have received on the experience has been positive. If you are unsure or nervous, but know you are due for a mammogram, please reach out to hear more about the experience!

As a reminder, this is open to all staff. It is billed directly to your insurance, so you do not have to be enrolled in one of the district plans. Make your appointment now! If there are still openings the week of the event we will open this up to the public.
Staff Flu Vaccine Clinic
Friday, October 18th
As a reminder, the clinic is available to ALL staff, even if you are not enrolled in a district health insurance plan.
