LMS Weekly Reminders

The 2nd Marking Period ends on January 17th. Please ensure that your students have turned in all missing assignments (if their teachers are still accepting them late) and work diligently to complete remaining assignments.

Remember, according to SMCPS Policy and Regulations, "Students normally progress annually from grade to grade if they have no more than two final content (Math, English/Language Arts, Social Studies and Science) grades of an "F"." In other words, if a student receives more than two final content grades of an "F", they may be considered for retention. Let's work together to ensure that our students all succeed.

It's such a busy time of year with so many fun activities and family obligations. Sometimes all the activities can be overwhelming and then our students have a tough time getting out of bed and making it to class on time. Please remember that even when it's hard to get to school because we are tired or feel behind it ultimately makes things easier for our students when they are in the building. Attending school, even when we are tired and "just don't feel like it", also builds healthy life and work habits for the future.

This is an opportunity for your students to showcase their knowledge and love of civics, their community, and GET THE CHANCE TO WIN CASH PRIZES at a Local, State, and National level.
