Open House 2021-2022 Information

We are looking forward to our Open House tomorrow evening (Tuesday, August 31st) and hope that you can join us.

Our Open House will begin at 6:00 P.M. and end at 7:30 P.M.

Classroom teachers will each be providing a presentation for their students and families. The first presentation will take place at 6:15 P.M. and the second at 6:50 P.M.
Support staff, including our Social Worker, Counselor, LSTs, MSTs, Nurse, Resource Teachers, Speech Pathologist and EL Teachers will be available in our Multipurpose Room
Our Physical Education teachers will be located in the foyer area just outside of our main gymnasium

With so many individuals in the building as we welcome students and families, if you could help us stagger visitors that would be great. If your student has a last name beginning with A-M coming for the first presentation and if your student has a last name N-Z coming for the second presentation, that could alleviate some crowding. I know that this might not be possible with timing or with multiple children, but if you are able to do so that would be appreciated.

McDonalds Fundraiser

Our Open House is tomorrow but so is our McDonald's Drive Thru fundraiser! To participate just visit the McDonald's at 9128 S. Cicero tomorrow, Tuesday, August 31st between 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. When ordering your food, show them the attached flier or say 'I'm with J Covington' and 15% of the profits will help benefit the school!

Covington Open School Open House

Join us this evening for our Covington Open House! This is a wonderful opportunity for our families to see the school and to connect with our wonderful staff. Classroom teachers will have presentations for the upcoming year and all staff will be on hand to provide information on how we work to provide the best educational experience for our students.
