Cafeteria Update:
Recently, there has been a lot of confusion with lunch orders .
Several students have not been ordering lunch because they thought mom & dad ordered for them and when they get to the cafeteria they are not on the list for hot lunch.
Therefore, we are going to disable the option for parents to pre-order lunch and students will order their lunch during attendance time in the morning.

PTL News
Hello, Zion Families! We wanted to first make everyone aware that the time has come to collect PTL dues. The money ($20 per family) will be drafted through FACTS under "incidental charges." If you have more than one child, you will only see the charge on one account. Funds collected from these dues will help offset costs for PTL activities throughout the school year.
In addition, thanks to all of your generous support with last year's APEX Fundraiser, PTL has been able to give back to the school in the following ways over the last several months:
- New radios for teachers & staff
- Curriculum resources for teachers
- 10% of funds went directly to teachers to use for classroom supplies/resources
- Playground equipment & library supplies (purchases are currently in progress)
Last but not least, it's time to get your costumes ready! Please join us at our annual Fall Carnival on Sunday, October 27th from 3 PM - 5 PM in the field behind the new worship center. This event is always loads of fun! We can't wait to see you there!
Accelerated Reader Program
We are starting a new program called Accelerated Reader (AR) at Zion for readers in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. The link will provide some basics. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher for additional information.
Dear Zion Families,
I would like to inform you of a few important guidelines to ensure that our school environment remains productive and secure for everyone.
When visiting the school or classrooms, please:
1. Notify the Teacher: If you plan to eat lunch with your student or visit a specific classroom, please inform the teacher in advance. This ensures your name will be on the visitor list for that day. This allows for proper preparation and minimizes disruptions to the learning process. These times are not ideal for a Parent/ Teacher conference.
2. Inform the School Office: Upon arrival, kindly check in at the office and get a visitors badge. Your name should be on our visitor list for the day. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensure the safety of all students and staff.
3. Drop off and Pick up: You may walk your student to the school doors in the morning. Please do not cross drop-off traffic lines.
Because of the nature of the pick-up procedure and staff availability, we ask you not to walk up and pick up your student after school. If you cannot wait in the secure pick-up lines, please pick up your student before 3pm. If you walk up to pick up your student, they will be released when the pick-up line slows down and a staff member is available to assist you. **For athletes who leave early on game days, the north corner door will be used for early pick up.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us maintain a secure, positive, and efficient learning environment. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your support!
