STATE TOURNAMENT RESULTS
The Table Tennis Team competed at the MN State Tournament!
The girls did a great job and placed in the consolation bracket.
The boys defended their title of 2ND place.

COMPETITION RESULTS
Mounds View students Alethia Olson-Skog and Andrew Higley, Spring Lake Park student Haifa Hammouri and Centennial student Katelyn Ross took 2nd place in the 38th Annual MN State Emergency Care Competition!
They are students in the Opportunities in Emergency Care (OEC) program offered at Spring Lake Park to Mounds View Students.
COMMUNICATION NIGHT - THURSDAY (2/27) - 4:00-7:30 PM
4:00-6:00 PM - virtual or in-person conferences by appointment
6:00-7:30 PM - drop-in conferences (no appt needed for drop-ins)
Appointments must be pre-scheduled through ParentVUE. To make an appointment for a virtual conference or in-person conference with a teacher:
- Sign in to ParentVUE (you will need to know teacher names (schedules in ParentVUE)
- Click on “Conferences”
- Select the times that are most convenient for you.
- You are only able to select ONE time slot per teacher.
- Time slots may fill up quickly and a few teachers will be unavailable that evening.
- If you are unable to get a time slot, email the teacher to set up an alternative way to receive information (e.g. phone call, email update, etc.).
- Click the ‘email me’ button to receive a confirmation of your scheduled time and teacher.

NEWS
BOYS TRACK & FIELD: The boys track & field meeting is today at 3:30 PM in the Cafeteria.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL: Boys volleyball is a new varsity sport this year! Open gyms are every Monday and Wednesday through Wednesday (3/5). Meet in the MAC from 8-10 PM. Any boy in grade 9-12 is welcome to come!
ROBOTICS: Team meetings this week include:
- Thursday (2/27) from 6:30-9:00 PM
- Saturday (3/1) from 9:00-3:00 PM
PICKLEBALL: Smash Park, in Roseville, is forming a High School Pickleball League! Practice is Tuesdays from 4-6 PM and run from March 4-April 8. Register here by Friday (2/28): Roseville Signup |Tuesdays, 4-6 PM. For more information: Gavin Wilson at 2026wilsg95@moundsviewschools.org.
SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: Good luck to the Science Olympiad team at the Minnesota State Tournament on Saturday (3/1) at Bethel University!
GIRLS TRACK & FIELD: There will be an informational and planning meeting for all girls interested in being part of the Track & Field team at Mounds View. All girls in grades 8-12 are encouraged to attend. The meeting is Tuesday (3/4) at 3:30 PM in the Forum. Also, the "Back to Track" parent and athlete preseason meeting will be Monday (3/10) at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.
BOYS GOLF: Any student that is planning on participating in boys golf this spring, should plan on attending the pre-season parent/student meeting on Wednesday (3/5) at 7:00 PM in the Mounds View High School auditorium. Reach out to Coach Schmidt with any questions.

SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION IS OPEN
Per the MSHSL, spring sports first day of tryouts/practice are as follows:
- March 10: softball, boys track & field, girls track & field
- March 17: boys golf, girls golf, baseball, boys volleyball
- March 24: boys tennis
- March 31: boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse (March 31 is no school day for MV, so tryouts/practice would be Tuesday (4/1))
Your child must have a valid sports physical on file prior to registering. Physicals are valid for three (3) years from the date of the exam. IF your child's physical expires during the season, you won't be able to register. Parents can check the current status of their child’s physical through their ParentVUE account by selecting the Student Info tab. The physical date is located at the bottom of the page.
