On May 10th, 6th grader Calie Smith participated in her very first 5K — the Hawaiian 5K — with the Sole Shine Running Club, and she absolutely crushed it!

Calie ran the 3.2 miles in an impressive 25:51, earning 1st place in her age group (13 and under)! She took home a pineapple, a special lei, and a gift card to Black Dog Running Company.

Practice will be Thursday, May 22 from 3:30-5:00.

The Game will be here at SMS on the back field on Tuesday, May 27 at 5pm.

Parents are welcome to attend! Bring a chair to sit in.

There will be a Volleyball Tournament for each grade level during exploratory classes on

Monday, June 2.

You can sign-up a team of six or individually and you will be put on a team.

We are continuing our Summer program at HGTC-Conway Campus entitled "Coastal Creatives" for rising 8th-10th graders who are interested in collaborative arts experiences that will combine drama, music, visual arts, sound, writing and/or movement while incorporating dynamic challenges to connect ideas and creative solutions to problems of all shapes and sizes.
