CHIPS Weekly Update

Our Book of the Month for March is If you Give a Mouse a Cookie. Children have been having lots of fun reading this silly story! A link to a read aloud of the book is included below. If you child enjoys this story, there are several others similar to it also written by Laura Joffe Numeroff.

Now that the weather has warmed up a bit and the snow has melted from our playground, we are going outside to play daily, weather permitting. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather and have them wear shoes they can run around in! Outdoor play is not only fun, it is great for a child's development! See below for outdoor play ideas.

• April 8- Spirit Wear Day- Wear CHIPS gear or maroon
• April 18- NO SCHOOL- Good Friday
• April 21-25- NO SCHOOL- April Vacation

The weather may be getting warmer and spring is definitely in the air, but the flu is still out there! Here's some helpful information for families.

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) or use our attendance email (chipsattendance@chelmsford.k12.ma.us) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc). If your child is out due to illness, please let us know the nature of the illness (fever, vomiting, cough, etc.).
