• Wednesday, August 28th - Friday, August 30th - Family Connections Conferences for Kindergarten families
• Monday, September 2nd - Labor Day - No School
• Tuesday, September 3rd - Wednesday, September 4th - Kindergarten half classes
• Thursday, September 5th - Kindergarten full classes begin

We keep record in the office of how every student gets home each day. We use this to make sure students get home safely and to the correct location.

Please take a moment to let us know how your child will be going home from school each day by filling out the survey linked below. Unless a note or call is received by the office from a parent or guardian regarding a change to the plan (temporary or ongoing), what you report on the survey is how we will send your student home.

Will your student be riding the bus? Information on pick up and drop off times and locations can be found in Family Access (Skyward) a week before school starts. Information is no longer posted on the district website due to safety and security reasons. When in Family Access, click on the "Busing" tab to view information. If you have trouble accessing Family Access or finding the information on the site, give our main office a call at 360.802.7425. If you have any questions related to your bus route, please contact our transportation department at 360-802-7232.

Due to WaKIDs Conferences the first 3 days of school, incoming kindergarteners do not attend school the 1st-3rd days of school: Wednesday, August 28th, Thursday, August 29th, or Friday, August 30th.

Instead, the parent/guardian will attend a WaKIDs conference with their child and their teacher for roughly 30 minutes during one of these first three days of school. Notification of day and time for this conference will be sent out by mid-August.

Half of our kindergarteners will attend on day 4, (Tuesday, September 3rd) or day 5 (Wednesday, September 4th). All kindergarteners attend together on day 6 (Thursday, September 5th) and follow the the same schedule as the rest of the elementary school students for the reminder of the school year.

Children will need to eat their meals onsite.

Parents/guardians must be volunteers in order to help in classrooms, eat lunch in the lunchroom with their child, or visit the playground to join their child at recess. The volunteer application is available by clicking the link below.
